The painting, Fruit Vendor, Cartagena, has been accepted into the 43rd Annual Watercolor West Exhibit. One of only 100 paintings selected from 1000 international entrants, the exhibit will run from October 15th through December 18th at the Brea Gallery. Opening reception, with issuing of awards, is October 15th 5-7PM.

Watercolor West is an international watercolor society founded in 1967 in Southern California. Adhering to its founding principles, Watercolor West solely promotes and exhibits transparent watercolor, recognizing that many other associations are open to works rendered in mixed media, acrylic, ink, collage, and opaque materials.


Painting Governors Island

May 27th - September 11th
Historic Building 20A

Kathleen Zann Isacson will again participate in the annual exhibition of paintings created on Governors Island. Located in historic building 20A, the exhibit features New York artists capturing the expansive views and interpreting the particular atmosphere of the former garrison and newly restored city park.

The show will be open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays during the island's open hours. Governors Island is accessible by free ferry from South Ferry terminal. For more information, go to www.govisland.com
